She was raised on a small family farm in the village of Menominee, located in Northwestern IL. Growing up on the farm she quickly adapted to an active lifestyle and gained appreciation for the nutrients in the soil and the plants that foster human growth and development. With a strong passion for nutritious eating and active living, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition with a minor in Exercise and Sport Psychology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) in May 2020. She then continued her education at SIUE and earned a master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics in May 2022. During the masters coursework she completed her dietetic internship with a total of 1,300 hours in the various practice fields of dietetics that includes clinical, food service, community, and sports/exercise. Using a holistic approach, she strive to help people find the right balance in nutritious foods, physical activity, and mindfulness to reach their individualized goals.
